Knee Length- Taking a step away from the typical wedding gown, many Spring 2013 Bridal lines offer a knee length bridal gown. The popularity of this look is on the rise with modern brides, as they search for dresses that will make a statement without being gaudy.
Color- Wedding dresses in color, as surprising as it may be, are an emerging trend for this next wedding season and year. Full color gowns in shades of burgundy, plum, and tan, have been showcased by designers as the new look for brides this coming spring.

Here are 6 Groom Tips that can come in handy with planning your special day. Grooms, you may find yourselves at a loss as to what to do during the hectic time surrounding the coordination of your big day, so here are some tips to help steer you in a helpful direction.
#1- Have some input; it’s your big day too: Naturally your bride to be will be in charge of the majority of the planning for your wedding day, as she has most likely been planning this day since she was a girl, however, it is your day too, and therefore your input should be added. Not every element of the planning will be of interest to you or even necessary for you to join in on, but there are areas that you could easily add your two cents to make sure your wedding day includes touches of you too. Include your genuine options and be open to compromise.
#2- Enjoy your wedding registry process: Though shopping may not be your favorite thing to do in the world, registering isn’t real shopping, so enjoy the possibility of receiving everything you pick out! Consider items that you want; not just blenders and china sets, especially items you know you are going to love and use.
#3- Try not to live by the “What happens in Vegas” mentality during your bachelor party: Living by the “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” mentality on your bachelor party night, may just come back to haunt you, as it is the one night in which your bride to be will already be assuming mischievous activities are taking place. Have fun, play within the perimeters of what your bachelor party should be, but don’t cross the line that is going to have your bride angry with you for eternity; remember you respect this woman.
#4- Tread lightly with the family frustrations: Undoubtedly the planning of a wedding can bring with it a considerable amount of stress. During such times, your fiancé may express her family frustrations, keep in mind before chiming in with the family bashing, that she is speaking out of anger. You don’t want any of your negative options, said in a moment of heat, to come back to bite you later. Try consoling her, offering help, and a listening ear rather than making a roast out of the situation.
#5- Wrangle your buddies: With all your fiancé has going on, do her a favor and manage your men. Keep your groomsmen in order and act as a line of communication for them as to who needs to be where at what time, who is giving what toast, etc.
#6- Let your sentiment be known: Even if you are not the most emotional or ‘lovey-dovey’ of fellas, the period of time surrounding your wedding is no better time to let down your sensitivity walls. Showing your bride to be your devotion and emotional commitment to her and your wedding day speaks volumes and will make her feel comfort during the whirl wind wedding period. Showing her, in your own special way, just how happy you are to be half of the bond you two are forming will elate your bride to be.
