Las Vegas, NV – June 4, 2012 – Las Vegas, Nevada has long been the wedding capital of the world with an established chapel wedding industry, but has not yet “cracked the code” on the luxury wedding industry. Las Vegas holds more weddings than any other US city, but has yet to be recognized as a premier destination for luxury and high-end weddings. “It’s really a shame that Las Vegas hasn’t seen the reception that cities like New York and San Francisco have seen to the luxury event market. Wedding Day Mistakes to Avoid

There is so much that goes into planning a wedding. Many Brides and Grooms can get flustered and end up making mistakes in the coordination process, mistakes that otherwise, in retrospect, could have been avoided. Here are some of my tips to help avoid making major wedding mistakes.

Spending your entire style budget on just the dress: This is a mistake that happens more often than you think. Keep in mind Brides to be, that your allotted style budget will include your wedding dress, shoes, hair accessories or veil, and potentially jewelry too. So plan accordingly.

Have a weather back up plan: If your wedding is planned for outdoors, think to have a back-up plan, just in case Mother Nature decides it’s a great day for a thunderstorm.

Don’t go out of the ordinary the night before: The night before your wedding may just happen to be your bachelor or bachelorette, now while you may want to go wild, keep in mind that the day to follow is not going to be enjoyable with a hangover. Also, Brides to be, don’t pick the day before your wedding for any special beautification procedures you’ve never tried before. You never know what kind of reactions you will have, and you don’t want them to last forever the next day in your photos.

Know your Master of Ceremonies: Be sure to be very comfortable with your Master of Ceremonies or Emcee. Communicate with them the tone of your wedding and the personality that you two have as a couple so that you are all on the same page.

Becoming set on one particular flower: Before you get your mind dead set on one particular kind of flower, be sure to consult a florist. You want to make sure that the flower of your choice will be in season during the time of your wedding.

Creating a realistic budget: Creating a wedding budget may be something that you have never done before. If that is the case, don’t worry; seek help from a skilled professional Wedding Designer. A Wedding Designer can help to assess the costs associated with your dream wedding from floral arrangements to bands.

You deserve to have your dream wedding! By seeking the council of a professional Wedding Designer and being sure to plan well in advance, you can have the day of your dreams free of wedding mistakes!
