Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Luxury Event | Las Vegas, NV
Posted by Jerri Woolworth in Blog | June 19, 2012This month I had the pleasure, along with many of Las Vegas’ finest wedding industry elite, in creating the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Luxury Event. The event was held June 4th, 2012 at Meet Las Vegas. The luxury wedding event welcomed some of the wedding industries most prestigious members for a night of networking, cocktails, catering, and one of a kind entertainment.
The lovely Meet Las Vegas venue includes an outdoor area that provided a fabulous lounging area, for which furniture was contributed by Somers Furniture. The outdoor area provided a remarkable view of the downtown Las Vegas skyline and was complimented by the tunes of DJ’s Sound Fusion Entertainment. All night long guests happily boogied to the beats of Sound Fusion Entertainment! The outdoor area also featured a large live Twitter feed screen crafted by Modern Rise Media that featured nightlong live tweets from the attending guests. As guests flowed from out to in, their eyes were graced with a spectacular sight! The interior featured quite a vision; impressive floral arrangements via Jovani Linens and Event Design, perfect lighting via LED Unplugged creating beautiful ambiance, and enjoyable music-entertainment via UD Factory, Gail Kreason, Red Abbey, and Bella Electric Strings! Aerialists added to the unique event displaying remarkable talent thanks to Cover U Productions. Along one wall 4 statuesque beauties were poised with-in life size frames; they donned spectacular one of a kind dresses created by Joey Galon Atelier. Being that this is Las Vegas and things are done just a bit differently here, guests could sip their champagne poured from a beautiful woman hanging upside down sparkling from head to toe, care of the crafty rigging techniques of PSAV and remarkable talent of Champagne Creative Group! Stunning cakes via Gimme Some Sugar, Aracelli Zea Cake Studio, and Simple Elegance created quite the focal point for guests too; the beauty and detailing left guests snapping photos left, right, and center! Guests that visited the bar were hardly parched thanks to the hospitality staff at Liquid Courage and the tasty cocktails provided by SX Liquors! SX Liquors provided guests with fabulous cocktails all night long. To accompany the delicious beverages, Wild Truffles Catering kept the yummy hors d’evoures coming non-stop. The night even included a real surprise wedding! The stunning bride wore a one of a kind dress made by designer Joey Galon, and had her fabulous make up done by the talented Lori J White and her team of spectacular make up artists!
Guests were able to take a piece of the evening home with them via a delightful gift bag from NYX Cosmetics; many VIP guests also took home a unique necklace gift from PJ Art Tags. Thankfully, the night will last forever through the photos captured by the incomparable photographer Adam Frazier and video captured by the remarkable videography duo Something New Films. A special thank you also to the Three Square organization, the help you provide others daily is so very admirable, and having you a part of this event is nothing short of a divine addition. Thank you to Grace Ormonde of Wedding Style, it was a pleasure creating this event in your honor in my home, Las Vegas. I also invite you all to have a look at the post Grace Ormonde did on her site about the event, here! Bringing luxury weddings to Las Vegas is a what this event was all about. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making it happen!

Bridal Fashion Weeks all over have displayed Spring 2013 Bridal Trends; they are just as beautiful as ever and fashionably innovative. Designers have out done their previous collections for this coming Spring, presenting bold new looks that offer cutting edge looks and new takes on classic looks. Jerri Woolworth and her team of Designer Wedding Planners in Las Vegas have been designing and executing flawless weddings for some of the most discerning clients for over 17 years. Here are a few of the Spring 2013 Bridal Trends to keep a look out for:
Cap Sleeves- Cap sleeves are a popular look for this next bridal season. They can be seen capping over the shoulder or above the shoulder for more of a ‘tank top’ look. They are also being seen in all different forms of fabric, depending upon the entire design of the dress. Cap sleeves are a lovely look that compliments many brides well.
Lace- Ever classic lace is seen in this coming Bridal seasons trends as many of the past. Lace this season is presented classically and with modern twists. Some of the more modern takes on lace this season have incorporated sparkle or color to the classic look.
One Shoulder- The one shoulder bridal gown look has been showcased by several designers for the Spring 2013 season, each offering their own take on the look. The one shoulder bridal gown offers a subtle hint of flirt to the bridal gown and has been seen as a dramatic drape off of one side, and as a more simplistic scoop.
Embellished Skirts- The embellished skirts of the upcoming 2013 Bridal season are quite popular indeed! Many designers presented floor length skirts with ample fabric both stunning and remarkable, sure to make any bride feel like a princess.
Knee Length- Taking a step away from the typical wedding gown, many Spring 2013 Bridal lines offer a knee length bridal gown. The popularity of this look is on the rise with modern brides, as they search for dresses that will make a statement without being gaudy.
Color- Wedding dresses in color, as surprising as it may be, are an emerging trend for this next wedding season and year. Full color gowns in shades of burgundy, plum, and tan, have been showcased by designers as the new look for brides this coming spring.
