Q: On my wedding day, I don’t necessarily want to wear white. Is there anything wrong with this?
A: No, absolutely not. Your wedding day is your day. You are free to wear the dress of your dreams, as that is your right on your special day. Many brides opt for dresses that are Ivory, Eggshell, and Beige vs White. This coming bridal season wedding dresses in color have even been predicted as a huge trend! Some of the country’s top bridal designers have featured wedding dresses in full color in their runway shows to preview the upcoming season. This day in age, a bride can wear what ever her heart desires.
Q: When picking out a wedding dress, where do I even begin?
A: When picking out a wedding dress it can be overwhelming, but take it easy, narrowing down the spectrum can be easier that you think. A good place to start is online. Online you are able to look at lot of dresses at once and add your “favorites” to a list; a list you can even print out and bring with you to stores to find similar looks. Think of the fit you want and search dresses with in that spectrum. Say you like slender form fitting gowns, do a search for those kinds of gowns and with in that look you will find several different shades, lengths, embellishments, and textures.
Q: I want to keep all of my Bridesmaids happy with the dress I pick for them, but they all have such different body types. What can I do in this situation?
A: It is important to make sure your Bridesmaids are comfortable in what they are wearing for your wedding, that being said, it is your special day and having your Bridesmaids fit your vision for your big day is important too. Compromise. Find a happy medium. If you have an assortment of body types among your Bridesmaids considers keeping all of the dresses the same color, with different cuts. There are also a select few dresses out there that look good no matter what the body shape.

Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Luxury Event | Las Vegas, NV
Posted by Jerri Woolworth in Blog | June 19, 2012This month I had the pleasure, along with many of Las Vegas’ finest wedding industry elite, in creating the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Luxury Event. The event was held June 4th, 2012 at Meet Las Vegas. The luxury wedding event welcomed some of the wedding industries most prestigious members for a night of networking, cocktails, catering, and one of a kind entertainment.
The lovely Meet Las Vegas venue includes an outdoor area that provided a fabulous lounging area, for which furniture was contributed by Somers Furniture. The outdoor area provided a remarkable view of the downtown Las Vegas skyline and was complimented by the tunes of DJ’s Sound Fusion Entertainment. All night long guests happily boogied to the beats of Sound Fusion Entertainment! The outdoor area also featured a large live Twitter feed screen crafted by Modern Rise Media that featured nightlong live tweets from the attending guests. As guests flowed from out to in, their eyes were graced with a spectacular sight! The interior featured quite a vision; impressive floral arrangements via Jovani Linens and Event Design, perfect lighting via LED Unplugged creating beautiful ambiance, and enjoyable music-entertainment via UD Factory, Gail Kreason, Red Abbey, and Bella Electric Strings! Aerialists added to the unique event displaying remarkable talent thanks to Cover U Productions. Along one wall 4 statuesque beauties were poised with-in life size frames; they donned spectacular one of a kind dresses created by Joey Galon Atelier. Being that this is Las Vegas and things are done just a bit differently here, guests could sip their champagne poured from a beautiful woman hanging upside down sparkling from head to toe, care of the crafty rigging techniques of PSAV and remarkable talent of Champagne Creative Group! Stunning cakes via Gimme Some Sugar, Aracelli Zea Cake Studio, and Simple Elegance created quite the focal point for guests too; the beauty and detailing left guests snapping photos left, right, and center! Guests that visited the bar were hardly parched thanks to the hospitality staff at Liquid Courage and the tasty cocktails provided by SX Liquors! SX Liquors provided guests with fabulous cocktails all night long. To accompany the delicious beverages, Wild Truffles Catering kept the yummy hors d’evoures coming non-stop. The night even included a real surprise wedding! The stunning bride wore a one of a kind dress made by designer Joey Galon, and had her fabulous make up done by the talented Lori J White and her team of spectacular make up artists!
Guests were able to take a piece of the evening home with them via a delightful gift bag from NYX Cosmetics; many VIP guests also took home a unique necklace gift from PJ Art Tags. Thankfully, the night will last forever through the photos captured by the incomparable photographer Adam Frazier and video captured by the remarkable videography duo Something New Films. A special thank you also to the Three Square organization, the help you provide others daily is so very admirable, and having you a part of this event is nothing short of a divine addition. Thank you to Grace Ormonde of Wedding Style, it was a pleasure creating this event in your honor in my home, Las Vegas. I also invite you all to have a look at the post Grace Ormonde did on her site about the event, here! Bringing luxury weddings to Las Vegas is a what this event was all about.
